Let the Children Explore

Some times we are very afraid that children will fall and  may get hurt if they climb on trees and on unstructured play area. But actually if we let them they grow better judgement and also grow better physically and socially. As well as they develop other skills such as cognitive, motor, asthetics, social and emotional  and develop language also. Their hearing and visual skills develop as well. It is proven that children who spend more time out doors get better grades in school and are less stressed.

Vegetable Garden

Children making Apple pie from the Apples of our trees.

 Showing off a large Zuccini.

Trying to find some riped tomatoes.

"this zuccini is better".

"I can pick a cabbage"

" Yumm! it is delicious".

"It is a smaller  bell pepper". "i Think it is a Baby".
Children are enjoying their project of  growing  vegtables and picking cucumbers and tomatoes from the garden for their snack and lunch. They do like to take them home as well. Children are also getting better in trying different vegetables and fruits as well as developing taste for those fruits and vegetables they did not like to try earlier. I am amazed how much they care for their garden  by showing responsibility of their turn to water and picking weeds from the garden. They are alsovery observant about the bugs and worms in the garden. They do observe about the sizes of vegetables of same kind. Thier learning skills  in all aspects are  really developing at high rate.
